Cox Media Group (CMG) Tampa partnered with Metropolitan Ministries to host Feed It Forward: A Virtual Food Drive April 16. More than a quarter-million dollars was raised in donations to help families who have been directly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

WWRM (Magic 94-9), WPOI (Hot 101.5), WHPT (102.5 The Bone), WDUV (105.5 The Dove) and WXGL (107.3 The Eagle) along with Metropolitan Ministries raised nearly $268,000 in the effort.

“We at Cox Media Group Tampa are so grateful to the Tampa Bay Community for their generosity,” said Keith Lawless, Vice President and General Manager of CMG Tampa. “And we are thrilled that our virtual food drive has inspired even more donations. Metropolitan Ministries can help feed our community immediately with these funds and we are proud to partner with them.”

“Cox Media Group’s leadership has sparked tremendous generosity. We are so thankful for our partnership and the Feed it Forward: Virtual Food Drive, which allows us to have a louder voice in the community,” said President & CEO of Metropolitan Ministries Tim Marks.
