Q: I’ve attended other economic summits. Is the content the same?
A: No. We encourage you to continue to support other summits. Forecast 2009 adds a layer of depth to understanding radio's potential in 2009. In fact, if you've attended other events, Forecast 2009 will fill in any gaps of information you may have.
Q: How much does it cost to attend?
A: The price for registration is $1,195.
Q: Why is attendance limited to 200 people?
A. This limit is imposed upon us by the Harvard Club; however, we think anything larger would detract from the intimacy of the event.
Q: Will meals be served during the conference?
A: Continential breakfast and a lunch will be provided. Entrance to the Top 40 Most Powerful cocktail party is also included.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A. Seating at Forecast is limited, therefore we cannot accept cancellations. Substitutions, however, are allowed if submitted by the attendee and approved in writing by Radio Ink's publisher no later than November 17, 2008. No refunds. No exceptions.
Q: Who is moderating the event?
A. This year's conference co-chairs will be announced soon .
Q: Tell me more about the "40 Most Powerful" cocktail party.
A: Each year, Radio Ink magazine publishes the year's 40 Most Powerful People In Radio, as determined by our editors. At the annual Forecast event, we invite the current Top 40 to receive their plaques, and welcome past members of the list. All registered attendees will be invited to attend the Top 40 event.
Q: What is the attire?
A. Business attire; the Harvard Club requires that all men wear a necktie, and a jacket during the evening event.
Q: Is press invited?
A. No. We like to keep dialogue open, and feel that the presence of the press prevents open discussion.
