Content Factory Acquires Game Time Decisions

September 10, 2008: The Content Factory has acquired Game Time Decisions, which powers a resource website for fantasy-football fans and runs fantasy games. Content Factory just made a deal with Pro Football Weekly and says it will use the show's resources to make "the most robust fantasy-football site online."

Additionally, Game Time Decisions will power a new fantasy-football game, "Weekly Pick Five," on Content Factory host Dan Patrick's website. The show will also be featured on The Dan Patrick Show and in a mobile version. The game lets casual fans play a football fantasy game without a long-term commitment.

"Fantasy has brought so much excitement to football fans, we think that a weekly game that is mass-appeal for every level of fantasy interest will catch on with teams, offices, and more," said Content Factory CEO Jimmy de Castro. "Its simplicity and opportunity to win prizes will be fun for everyone."

Content Factory Managing Partner Chris Crane said, "Fantasy sports are a $4 billion industry, and player participation grows almost 10 percent a year.  We think that this is an important audience to serve based on our relationships with Dan Patrick and local radio sports affiliates."
