Thornton Joins Tribune Interactive As CFO

CHICAGO -- February 3, 2009: Erica Thornton is the newly named CFO of Tribune Interactive. She was most recently VP/Finance for Clear Channel/Chicago; in her new post, she'll be overseeing finances and planning for the Tribune Co. division.

"Not only is Erica tremendously talented and experience, she acts like an adult, which is unusual for Interactive," said Tribune Interactive President Marc Chase. "I really have no idea why she took the job. We all did our best to talk her out of it."

Thornton, a 20-year broadcast-industry veteran, said, "My goal is to ensure the financial performance and operational efficiency of Tribune Interactive.
