Kip Moore Battles ESPN Host Over Scalping


A pet peeve of Country Music star Kip Moore (pictured) is how scalpers scoop up his concert tickets and sell them at much higher prices. Moore even offered a scalper $1,000 to show up at one of his shows so he could confront him (the scalper did). Moore took his issues with scalpers to Twitter where ESPN 99.1 Sioux Falls host Jeff Thurn latched on and the two had a little war of words.

Thurn: "that's not kip Moores place to say what they sell for. The market determines it. As it does in all avenues of business." Ticket scalpers and re-sellers are the scourge of the Earth...they do not produce a product nor provide a service...contribute nothing worthwhile to society...simply an act of greed. Re-selling tickets above face value should not be allowed in America.
