Journal: CBS Looks to Buy Univision

The owners of Univision Communications are looking for a buyer and the Wall Street Journal says CBS has had preliminary discussions about a purchase. Univision owns both TV and 68 Radio stations. Univision is controlled by several investors including billionaire Haim Saban and the Journal reports the group wants $20 Billion for the company which it purchased for $13.7 Billion back in 2007. It was expected that Univision would go public in 2015. In 2013, Univision Radio generated nearly $330 million in revenue, and produced $110 million in operating income.
