Julie Reeves Takes Mornings At WDGG-FM

3-20-2013
Former Virgin Records Country artist Julie Reeves is getting her own morning show on The Dawg WDGG-FM in Huntington, WV. The station is owned by Kindred Communications. Reeves released her debut Country album, "It's About Time," on Virgin records in 1999. It featured two top-40 charting singles on the Billboard Magazine Hot Country Chart – "Trouble Is A Woman" and "What I Need." The show will also feature longtime Tri-State broadcaster Chuck Black, and producer Derek Levine.
The Ashland, Kentucky, native has taken time away from recording to dedicate her life to her family and says she's excited to return to world of entertainment and Country radio. "Having the opportunity to work for a locally owned broadcaster in my hometown is a dream come true. For the first time, my son and daughter will be able to enjoy their mom as she works. I don't want it any other way."
