Pandora Tops March Webcast Rankers

May 18, 2011: Triton Digital releases its webcast rankers for March, and Pandora is in the lead in the 6 a.m.-8 p.m., Monday-Friday daypart, with 599,214 average active sessions. To calculate AAS, the figure for total listening hours is divided by hours in the reported time period. Average TSL for Pandora -- the average number of hours for each listening session at least one minute long -- came in at .82 hours for the month.

CBS Radio is second on the workday list for March, with 155,863 average active sessions and average TSL of .85 hours, followed by Clear Channel Radio, with AAS at 131,554 and average TSL at 1.18. The rest of the top 10:

The combined Katz Online Network streams showed 269,802 average active sessions in March, with average TSL at 1.35 hours.

Pandora also leads the domestic ranker in the Monday-Friday 6 a.m.-midnight daypart, with AAS at 498,135 and average TSL at .8 hours. CBS Radio is once again in second, with AAS of 105,591 and average TSL at .81 hours, while Clear Channel Radio picked up 88,420 average active sessions in March and average TSL of 1.07 hours. Citadel was fourth, with AAS at 35,814 and average TSL at 1.5 hours.

The Katz Online Networks streams combined for AAS of 183,456 and average TSL of 1.24 hours.

In the all streams ranker, which includes internationally based webcasters but does not include Pandora, Clear Channel Radio, or Citadel, CBS Radio was the leader in March, with AAS at 110,750 and average TSL of 0.81 for the 6 a.m.-midnight, Monday-Friday daypart. The top 10:
