Salem, AirKast Partner On Mobile Apps
April 28, 2010: Salem Communications teams up with AirKast to launch no fewer than 57 radio station mobile applications for iPhone and BlackBerry, and by the end of next month, 71 Salem stations will have apps available.

"Both the iPhone and BlackBerry apps have been everything we could ask for -- and AirKast delivered them incredibly quickly. Our entire company is eager to see the continued growth of our radio stations via mobile apps in the coming years."
The Salem apps, using AirKast's AirBridge and TuneKast, offer streaming, lyrics and album info music reviews, videos, podcasts, and music sales through iTunes. All apps are free with no registration required.
