I concur with your comment Ronald. It's also not easy to stay "fit" as you get a little older-though self confidence I think is the toughest one to keep.

Thank you for that Ron Pell! That was a tricky flight for sure. I just thought as I sat there...if I'm going to speak here tomorrow, then why can't I get off of this plane...was my mentality. I really think the reason I got off the plane is that I didn't know any better than to ask. Same in sales-if you don't ask, you don't get. Thank you again Ron! People should also know you are the head table aerobic instructor for the Connecticut Broadcasters Association. :)

This is a great story and I am glad I got to hear it. It illustrates that "mindset" is primary and everything else is secondary. Believing in yourself, even when external conditions might suggest otherwise... is a real key. Not just for radio sales folks, but for everyone. What I especially appreciate about your tale, is how the Universe conspired in your favor, in a way that you could not have possibly choreographed. Thanks.

A reminder to Ron Pell. These attributes that Sean enjoys are all acquired and not gifted - including the "good looks". (Although, I'm not sure he's all THAT cute!) :)
