More BS from Wayne. Who are you patronizing?- The station owners and managers who would hire you?... You cast aspersions on SEO, then you create a gimmick term called SOM. And the major point that you fail to address, is how EXACTLY can "SOM" be tracked and ROI monetized? Unless you can specifically answer that, smart advertisers and agencies will reject your SOM theory.

Some of your early analysis is seriously flawed. After 25+ years in the yellow page industry I can tell you we never tried to move money from radio to print – in fact more prudent publishers are actually rewarding advertisers for using their radio or tv brand messaging and adding a tag line at the end to find more about them in their print YP ads. The two media serve totally purposes. And that will be the same with online.
