I had the privilege of first meeting Ron when I was a cub radio salesperson in Miami. Then and throughout the years he always treated me and others with respect, warmth and a contagious brand of enthusiasm all of which made him so many friends!

Not only did I know him as a terrific RADIO GUY but as a friend for the past twenty five years. Ron I'll always remember our time together at Transtar and will miss seeing you at the RAB events.

Thanks RL for scooping me up and whisking me away to tropical paradise in the Aloha State and then to Colorful Colorado where I truly cut my teeth. Not to sure Miami would have been as kind to me as you were all my life. I would know far less of the world without your cosmopolitan tutelage! What an exciting childhood I had, HUGE thanks to you. You made our world a better place and mine a wonderland fairy tale

I have always been a lucky guy, but I had two dads growing up! Ron Ruth became more than a "Stepfather" when I was just a boy. He was an extaordianry man, his special energy touched anyone he met. Creating friends on a whim and entertaining with just one of a million real/epic stories as if it was nothing. A true pillar of a man and the world has lost something very special. I am a well rounded man because of the life lessons I learned by watching him be such an incredible person. LONG LIVE RLR!

Working with Ron at Transtar back in the late 80s… I don’t recall him ever having a bad day. Always with a smile, always there to help, always ready to go play 18 holes. A Class Act who will be missed.
