So right, Joe! Too bad this point is not better understood. Very nasty of PF and RIAA to use that lack to unfair advantage. But, that's the foundation of their business model ... and now they don't fancy doing the work required to stay competitive on a more level playing field.

As an engineer of a struggling web station... I would tell PF 15% of SOMETHING is better than 100% of NOTHING... with Sound Exchange's outrageous royalty scheme... more and more web broadcasters are pulling the plug.

This is NEW, ADDITIONAL revenue... for legacy bands....

Traditionally the problem with the record industry has been greed... nice to see that somethings really don't change....isn't it!
