I worked in radio for many years and thought I was pretty good. But now when I listen, I just can't get past the commercials, which get worse and worse each year. Listening to those horrible compositions of lies and hype is just too high a cost to pay to hear the same ten songs that you hear every time you turn it on.
Radio can keep telling itself how relevant it is but neither of my children listen much. IPhones have fixed that and Pandora is the only place anyone hears new music.

Radio sales managers tout the numbers when they are in their favor and call Arbitron fraudulent when they do not. And then they want to fire people who dispute the numbers.

92% penetration. Constant time listening. Hold a special sales meeting and give these numbers to your sales staff. If anyone disputes the data, fire them in front of all. That person is a lost cause, anyway. If radio can't sell itself and show good increases with this audience documentation, we need to clean house and find some people who aren't spending most of the day staring at a smart phone.
