Why am I reminded of one of the early scenes in Monty Python and the Holy Grail?
"I'm getting better!"
"No, you're not -- you'll be stone dead in a moment."
Of course music radio is not dying. But we are sick & puny. So far, I haven't noticed that many sick & puny folks playing in the big leagues or making the dough "The Show" offers.
What we need to do is get healthy and strong. The constant wheezing and retching has become quite tiresome for everybody.
But then again, that process may not be part of the overall, corporate strategy.
That radio keeps having to convince itself that it is not dying - sorry, the Internet is slowly killing everyone!
Well stated, Fred Jacobs!
