Shame on radio ink for BELIEVING that Cumulus would institute ratings across their platform....seriously....that expense right now would be a death blow to them. Its not about Arbitron IT IS about cost. Cumulus would love ratings - they simply cannot afford it.
Again another Radio Ink "lets pat Cumulus on the back" story.
Guys - Hint: We are sick of them!
You mean they're not going to spend additional national dollars for a inferior service they trashed 4 months ago?
What a shocking turn of events, said no one ever.
Lemme understand this:
An organization this large is willing or needs to reluctantly pay an exhorbitant amount of money for questionable, less-than-dependable data in order to take at least something to the street. Do I get that correctly?
If so, I have to wonder if that constitutes evidence that "The Story" is not all that compelling or convincing.
