I am so honored to have my father recognized in such a manner. Daddy has always been so involved in his community. How he loved the interaction he had with the soldiers at Ft. Hood, his involvement with Easter Seals and the Children's Rehab Center in Killeen, Texas. He has always found ways to give back to his community. With his recent health decline, strokes and hip surgery we are prayerful that we are able to make it to Nashville with Daddy.
Please keep him in your prayers.

Gaylon Christie is a great choice for the Hall of Fame. A fantastic air personality, an innovative and knowledgeable manager, and a community-minded leader of the Central Texas media landscape. I left the area almost 10 years ago but will always remember Gaylon as a great radio man with endless energy.
