Sour grapes lawsuit?
So Mark Masters' problem with Dial Global is...what exactly? What law prohibits TRN from growing like DG? After all, this is America. "We are not Communists here." Don't hold your breath looking for the feds to break up any alleged monopoly anywhere. Those days died with Teddy Roosevelt. Nobody seems to mind that we're headed toward one bank, one airline and one political party.
I'm not sure that CNN's demise is proof of anything except a wayward company. Their TV properties are atrophying as well.
Do you have a link to the actual complaint? It would be great to know more about the alleged wrongdoings by Dial Global.
All of you are looking where the magician is pointing and telling you to look, while 'palming the truth' and slipping it into their pocket. If this so called spoken word format would ALL simultaneously air the soundtrack to Inside Job, a documentary by Charles Ferguson and Chad Beck, then we would all see what is really going on behind the smoky mirror. Dial Global wants to control what you hear even more than CCC or Cumulus. FOLLOW THE MONEY
