Our loss is truly your gain. I confess that I don't know anything about WQAM but it is my firmest conviction that it will be a better station with the addition of Dan Sileo. Fasten your seatbelts, South Florida, and enjoy the ride!

Biggest Hurricane honk ever. Get used to him telling you how good he was - he has repeatedly stated on air he was better than teammate Warren Sapp. The worst ever. Nice earring and mullet - should fit well with Hurricane fans.

I am saddened by the departure of Sid, he is a great talent with the demons so many of us have. Yes he was obnoxious, self centered and most of all a true New Yorker, but that's what made him great on the air. With his self promoting ways, without a doubt he is well connected and was an excellent interviewer, no one comes close. Also, not many shock jocks have the guts in the media to admit Pres. Obama is a failure and I respect that.
Truly hope Sid gets the help he needs and gets another (4th or 5th) chance and will be back on the air in Miami soon. Sid, God Bless you & your family, waiting for your comeback.

A Fan !!

Syd rode the train as long as it would ride. He was dripping with New York obnoxiousness and is an example that people with no talent and big mouths can have their day in the sun, Florida sun. He must have known somebody important because he had no talent and his voice was terrible.

Stopped listening to WQAM for 790 a long time ago. I'll give the new guy a chance but WQAM is basically football top to bottom. I got tired of Torreta always talking Canes year round. Hopefully this guy isn't another Torreta.

You guys hating in Sid have no clue what a talk show host is supposed to be. You want to hear Dolphins talk all day then listen to that garbage of a show Finsiders. Sid was the most entertaining most provocative show is all of Florida. I guess he was right. People in Florida and Miami really don't know what good radio is supposed to be. And I was born in Miami and a big hommer.

as a recovering addict i knew sid was full of BS arrogant self centered etc everything you can't afford as a recovering addict if you hope to stay clean. He also resented all the miami miami teams and made it obvious glad he's gone and not surprised of his relapse he's not a victim he chose to use and now has to pay the consequences as all recovering addicts have done. wish him well with his recovery but glad he will no longer be here in miami good luck in new york!!!
