Barry's a good guy. Worked with him at cd101.9 (NY) and wjzz in atlanta. I think it's time to re-embrace contemporary jazz as the baby-boomer is now in their sixties and beyond and like to be be challenged from time to time. Just one man's opinion. I wish Barry the best!!
Barry was PD at WGCI-FM Chicago, before NYC, and the station had a meteoric rise, and success story. It took 25 years to kill off the ratings that Barry achieved. He was not on the call, as he was on a once-in-a-lifetime vacation in Tanzania. Barry is also an accomplished longtime photographer, so, some people paint paintings, while others take photos with cameras.
