Not only does John Garziglia offer no worthwhile information in this post, his opening line highlights why radio is in a death spiral. Yes, if we could only get rid of people! What an idiot.
I agree with Steve. I almost stopped reading the piece when I got to that comment. 99.9% of air talent constantly get the short end of the stick. That's why contracts and unions are a much needed evil... to save jocks from the egotistical, lying management & owners.
"If radio stations could operate without egotistical, big-headed, narcissistic air talent, it would make our business so much easier."
Interesting.
I've always felt the same way about management.
