There is an immediate opportunity for stations to get more listeners without waiting the FM chip bandwagon rolls into town.
I was really surprised that no 'information' station touted their 'hurricane' or 'flood' or 'storm' app during the recent weather issues.
All they had to do was direct listeners to download their station app and do business as usual - providing coverage appropriate to the timeliness and seriousness of the situation.
