Louie Zamperini's story does rank right up there with Shackelton's Endurance. The big difference is that there are no bad buys in the Shackelton Saga. Laura Hillenbrand's book Unbroken is riveting in its detail. Two other World War Two stories are of similar substance. In Harms Way, The Sinking of the Indianapolis and Fly Boys.
