I'm a proud public broadcasting user. I'm also an angry computer user. I hate the damn things, but have been forced into using 'IT'. 'IT' controls how I choose to run my life.
But I refuse to use social media, ala the multitude of devices designed to make others money, you poor financially, and robbed of your privacy and time control.
I'm going to be one of the proud few who said, "I told you so".
Interesting that Scott, Joe, Rob, etc are so defensive when confronted with educated people. I wonder why they feel so inferior. We certainly don't feel that way about them. I was told that Americans generally do not value education and so deride those who are educated. That's sad, isn't it.
If they're that smart I'm certain they'll figure out how to push that button to tune in the next radio station when all the public funds are pulled from welfare radio and they no longer exist.
"Smartest" and "best educated" are not necessarily the same thing. Could "best educated" also be interpreted as "most thoroughly indoctrinated" hence their affinity for the programming spin.
6% own HD radios? The HD Radio industry has a history of manipulating polls and surveys. Just ask John Gorman.
"TWO few smart people"? LOL - you may have just provided supporting evidence...
If that's truly the case, then they should have no problem in coming up with a funding solution all on their own.
After all, they're smarter than the rest of us...right?
