Michael Fischer Is New PD For KJCD-FM Denver Jefferson-Pilot Communications Co. has appointed Michael Fischer as program director of Denver Smooth Jazz station KJCD-FM (104.3). Beginning in early November, he will replace Steve Williams, who left to join KKSF San Francisco. Positions included in Fischer's 15-year career were PD at KOAI Dallas and assistant PD at WNUA Chicago.He also created a 24-hour syndicated satellite network for Sony Worldwide Radio and implemented a multi-genre online music subscription service for FullAudio.
