(07/12/02) Bill Press, Jane Norris And Sam Donaldson Join WMAL Morning Team
In Washington, DC, News/Talk 630 WMAL has added personalities Bill Press, Jane Norris and Sam Donaldon to its morning lineup. Starting Monday, Press and Norris join Andy Parks on The WMAL Morning News, 5-9 a.m. daily, with news, debate, weather and traffic.
Parks has been with WMAL since 1984, starting as a traffice reporter and later doing 10 years as co-host of Tim and Andy in the Morning.
Norris has been a guest commentator on CNN for 10 years as well as midday news commentator for KGTV in San Diego.
Press is currently co-host of on MDNBC, author of the book Spin This, and former chairman of the California Democratic Party.
Starting July 22, The Sam Donaldson Show will air 9-10 a.m. as a local program with an analysis of the news from the broadcasting legend.
An ABC owned-and-operated station, News/Talk 630 is this year's winner of the Edward R. Murrow Award for Overall Excellence, given by the Radio-Television News Directors Association.
