(10/25/2001) Country Radio Broadcasters Seek Hall Of Fame Nominees.
The Country Radio Broadcasters (CRB) are inviting radio and music industry execs to submit inductee nominations for two separate Hall of Fame Awards — the Country Radio Hall of Fame and the Country DJ Hall of Fame. Applications for next year's inductees into the Country Radio Hall of Fame and the Country Music Disc Jockey Hall of Fame are being accepted through December 31, 2001.

Inductee nomination applications (eligible persons living or deceased) will be accepted from any member of the country radio and/or country music industries. Applications for the Country Radio Hall of Fame require that the nominee has served 25 years in country radio, contributed to the growth and development of country radio, and to the preservation and enhancement of country music as an art form. This past June, legendary country radio entrepreneur Mike Lynch became the first inductee into the Country Radio Hall of Fame. Lynch was the highly respected president of Great Empire Broadcasting.

The Country Radio Hall of Fame and Country Music Disc Jockey Hall of Fame inductees will be feted at a special dinner held in Nashville on Thursday, June 27, 2002.

For application forms, please contact Mary Anne Nelson at the CRB offices (615-327-4487). Applications may also be downloaded from the CRB Website, www.crb.org. E-mail inquiries can be directed to info@crb.org. All applications must be received in the CRB office (located at 819 18th Avenue So., Nashville, TN 37202) by December 31, 2001.
