(8/20/2001) Hispanic Broadcasting Corporation Appoints Jerry Ryan As General Manager Of The Chicago Market And Michelle Falo As General Manager Of The Phoenix Market.
Hispanic Broadcasting Corporation announced that Jerry Ryan has been named general manager of WIND-AM, WOJO-FM, WLXX-AM, stations serving the Chicago markets. Hispanic Broadcasting also announced that Michelle Falo has been named general manager of the KHOT-FM station, serving the Phoenix market. Ryan and Falo will be responsible for all aspects of the Chicago and Phoenix station operations, including sales, programming, promotions and marketing.

Prior to this new position, Ryan had served as GM at KHOT-FM in Phoenix since 1999. In 1986, Ryan joined Duffy Broadcasting and served as GM of KESZ-FM in Phoenix. He began his radio career as an account executive for Chicago's WJJD(AM/FM) in 1977. Ryan received his BA from DePaul University in Chicago.

Falo had served as general sales manager at KSOL-FM and KZOL-FM in San Francisco since 1996. Before joining HBC, Falo was sales manager for Crescent Communications and Infinity Broadcasting. She began her radio career as a sales assistant in 1984. Falo received her BA from San Francisco State University.
