(6/26/2001) Horizon Broadcasting Group Moves To Boise. Horizon Broadcasting Group has moved its corporate headquarters to Boise, Idaho. "A majority of our properties are located in Idaho, and we are please to have a greater presence in one of America's most vibrant communities," said Bill Ackerley, Horizon's CEO. HBG's new headquarters are located at 888 Cole Road in Boise. The building will also house Horizon's Boise radio properties (KIJZ-FM and KTPZ-FM) and the front-office staff of the Boise Hawks Baseball Club. Horizon has more than 100 employuees in Idaho and Oriegon (60 full time). President Dan Walker resides in Nampa.
