(10/9/2000) Emerald City/Amaturo Deal Officially Closes.
Amaturo Broadcasting, owner of KSRO 1350 AM, FROGGY 92.9, 101.7 The Fox, and 97.7 KMGG finalized its purchase by Emerald City Radio Partners today. The deal includes the region’s only News/Talk radio station and three of Sonoma County’s most popular FM music stations. The transaction, valued at over $25,000,000, is the largest broadcast sale in North Bay history.

“I’m proud of the success my team has created over the past four years”, said Lawrence Amaturo, Managing Partner and owner of Amaturo Broadcasting. “We’ve been able to create a media business that ranks number one in revenue, profitability, community service, and most important, listenership.”
