NEW YORK -- August 9, 2007: An 8 percent decline in national revenues helped lead radio to a 3 percent decline overall in June, the RAB reports. Local was down by 3 percent year-over-year, and local and national combined for a 4 percent decline.
Nonspot was a bright spot for the month, however, rising an impressive 14 percent in June -- a third straight month of double-digit gains.
RAB revenue figures are based on approximately 100 markets as reported by Miller Kaplan Arase & Co.
