Entercom Sells Three In Rochester, NY

BALA CYNWYD, PA -- May 1, 2008: Entercom has agreed to sell AC WRMM, Alternative WZNE, and Adult Hits WFKL/Rochester, NY, to Stephens Media Group. Stephens began operating the stations under a TBA today.

Entercom last year bought 15 stations from CBS Radio, including four in Rochester, where it already owned three FMs and an AM. Entercom said at the time that it planned to sell WRMM and WZNE, acquired in the CBS deal, and its own WFKL, to meet FCC ownership guidelines and to resolve Department of Justice concerns about Entercom's market share in Rochester.

Media Venture Partners represented Entercom in the deal.
