January Radio Revenue Slides 6% NEW YORK – February 20, 2008: The RAB reported late yesterday that combined local and national revenue declined 7% in January, with national declining a steep 13% and local falling off 5%. A year ago, local revenue was up 3%, while national was down 3%.
As has been the trend for months now, only non-spot revenue posted robust growth, increasing 11% in January 2008.
Factoring in the non-spot results, total combined radio revenue for January 2008 was down 6%.
