CBS Radio Renews Carolla
NEW YORK -- December 26, 2007: CBS Radio has signed a multiyear extension for The Adam Carolla Show, based at Talk KLSX/Los Angeles and heard on sisters KUFO/Portland, OR, and KXTE/Las Vegas. The show is also syndicated through Westwood One.
"Two years ago morning radio went through a seismic change, one that granted Adam Carolla the opportunity to launch his own unique style of entertainment in a coveted time slot," said CBS Radio VP/Programming Chris Oliviero. "The Adam Carolla Show has far exceeded our expectations and proven to be a listener favorite. We are thrilled to continue our relationship with Adam and anticipate even more success for the program in the years to come."
The Adam Carolla Show went on the air in January 2005, following the departure of Howard Stern for Sirius Satellite Radio.
In related news, Carolla Show Danny Bonaduce will leave his role on that show and move to The Danny Bonaduce Show, 2-3 p.m. on Carolla flagship KLSX, beginning January 2.
