XM Steps Into Podcasting

WASHINGTON -- December 11, 2007: XM Satellite Radio is now offering Bob Edwards Weekend, XM Artist Confidential: Green Room, highlights from the Unmasked comedy series, and other programs in free podcast form through the XM website and the iTunes Music Store. The podcast offerings also include a new animated video series from Opie & Anthony.

"By making these original XM series available through xmradio.com, iTunes, and other popular podcast websites, millions more consumers have an opportunity to sample some of the best in premium music, news, and sports programming that you can only get as an XM subscriber," said XM EVP/Programming Eric Logan.

The shows will be available as podcasts the day after they air on XM, and the satcaster says it plans to add more podcast content soon.
