Arbitron To Launch Satellite Radio Measurement With Fall Survey
Arbitron has informed its Advisory Board that it will being measuring satellite radio channels starting with the Fall 2006 survey. The announcement was made during the three-day Advisory Board meeting that was held in Colorado Springs, CO from July 26 - 28.

Board member and Clear Channel Youngstown, OH market manager tells Radio Ink, that in order to be included in the survey, satellite radio channels must meet the same minimum reporting requirements as terrestrial radio stations.

During the meetings, Arbitron also reaffirmed that it won't go live with the Portable People Meter until the device receives MRC accreditation.
