WFNX Boston Completes Signal Upgrade

WFNX-FM has announced that the station has doubled its power and started broadcasting from its new tower located on the top of One Financial Center in downtown Boston.

The station, which was previously broadcasting from Medford, MA at 3,000 watts, was granted permission from the FCC to make the move into Boston and to double its power to 6,000 watts.

WFNX General Manager Andy Kingston said, “A huge number of WFNX’s listeners either work or live in or around the city of Boston. The number one complaint we get from these people is that they can’t receive our signal in their home or office. I am thrilled to finally have a solution for them. Hopefully the only complaint will come from their neighbors asking them to turn down the music!”
