Suzuki Selects XM Satellite Radio For ‘06 Models
XM Satellite Radio has announced that Suzuki will offer XM Radio for the first time this fall. For the 2006 model year, the Suzuki Grand Vitara and the Suzuki XL-7 sport utility vehicles will arrive XM-Ready at US dealerships beginning in mid-September.
Paul Kirsch, VP of OEM business at XM, said, "With the addition of Suzuki to our ever- expanding family of automotive partners, we look forward to continuing our rapid rate of growth by introducing even more consumers to coast-to-coast, commercial-free motoring."
"Suzuki is experiencing strong sales growth this year, and XM Satellite Radio will only boost that appeal," said Tom Carney, director, sales and marketing, American Suzuki Motor Corporation. He added, "Suzuki is very pleased to offer XM-ready radios in the upcoming 2006 models of the Grand Vitara and XL- 7."
