Don Kelly, Longtime Broadcaster, Dies

Lifetime broadcaster and station owner Don Kelly died Wednesday in Tucson of ALS. He began his radio career as an air personality at WSCR in Scranton. Later, he programmed WTTO, Toledo and WBAL in Baltimore.

Don began his radio career as an air personality at WSCR in Scranton. Later, he programmed WTTO, Toledo and WBAL in Baltimore. He entered ownership at WKRT in Courtland, NY. Later, he owned the very successful Classy 100 (WXKC) in Erie, PA and Seaview 107 in Long Branch, NJ.

His partner in K&K Broadcasting, Jerry Koeppel passed away in December. Don is survived by his wife Linda, and three children, Kathleen, Brad, and Geoff.
