Snow’s FOX News Show Debuts Next Monday
FOX News Radio will launch its second nationally syndicated show, “The Tony Snow Show,” next Monday (3/1). Hosted by veteran journalist, Tony Snow, the show will debut in 40 markets and will be broadcast live from 9am - 12Noon (ET). Launching in 11 out of the top 25 markets, the show will originate from the FOX News Radio facilities-Washington, DC. It will be a news analysis, interview and commentary show, focusing on national and international news, from politics to social issues to pop culture. FOX News Radio VP Bob Finnerty said, “Stations and listeners around the country have been anxiously awaiting the debut of the show. Tony’s unique blend of talents as a seasoned interviewer on both television and radio, a newspaper columnist and an editorial page editor - in addition to his humor - makes him well positioned to become the next hot radio property.” Snow will look at the day’s news, provide listeners with a behind-the-scenes perspective of the stories and offer his opinion on the issues concerning listeners across the nation. Listeners will be strongly encouraged to call. Snow also hosts “Weekend Live With Tony Snow” on FOX News Channel and serves as a political analyst and contributes to the network’s political and election news coverage. He joined FOX News in 1996 and served as host of “FOX News Sunday” from 1996 to 2003. Before joining FOX News, Snow was a nationally syndicated columnist with The Detroit News and a columnist for USA Today. He also served as an editorial writer at The Virginian-Pilot; Editorial Page Editor of The Daily Press; Deputy Editorial Page Editor of The Detroit News; and Editorial Page Editor of The Washington Times. Snow began his career in journalism as an editorial writer for The Greensboro Record in 1979.
