Entravision-Los Angeles Names Meyer GM Entravision Radio has appointed Karl Alonso Meyer GM of its Los Angeles cluster. Meyer will oversee operations of Entravision's six Los Angeles stations: KDLD/FM; KDLE/FM; KLYY/FM; KSSC/FM, KSSD/FM; and KSSE/FM. His appointment will take effect once his current Radio Unica duties are complete. Entravision Radio President Jeffery Liberman said, “We’re very excited to welcome Karl to Entravision Radio as we work towards maximizing the value of our Los Angeles radio assets. His experience in media management and sales is proof of his strength as a leader and strategist. His accomplishments and acute knowledge of the broadcasting industry will be an integral part of helping Entravision Radio meet its objectives of increasing market share and driving ratings growth across our Los Angeles stations.” Prior to becoming Radio Unica’s VP/Sales, Meyer was GSM of Telemundo's KVEA/TV-Los Angeles and has also served in sales management positions for Telemundo's Southwest and Orange County (CA) regions. Entravision operates one of the nation's largest centrally programmed Spanish-language radio networks, which serves 23 markets via 58 owned and/or operated radio stations.
