Clear Channel Augusta Raises $184K For Kids

Clear Channel Augusta recently held its 13th annual Care for Kids Radiothon and brought in a whopping $184,000 for the Children’s Hospital of Georgia. Throughout the three-day event, the Clear Channel Augusta stations aired vignettes featuring young patients and their families, and doctors and nurses who spoke about the hospital’s lifesaving work and critical care. Over the last 13 years, Clear Channel Augusta has raised nearly $1.7 million for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.

Clear Channel Media and Entertainment Augusta Operations Manager Travis Dylan believes the spirit of giving is alive and well in the CSRA, "Once again the CSRA has opened up their hearts and checkbooks for a critical cause: the world-class care of sick children in our community. We are honored to work with the dedicated team at the Children's Hospital of Georgia and Children's Miracle Network, and look forward to many more events like this where 100 percent of funds raised go directly to the cause, here in Augusta. We want to thank the heroes in our community, you made this a brighter Holiday Season for kids at CHOG."
