CMG Creates New Digital Position


The position is called Radio Digital Audience Director and CMG Tampa PD Tim Clarke will be the first to occupy the chair. Clarke will be the "liaison between CMGs radio and digital divisions to help drive the digital brand strategy and product development for growing audience and engagement at all CMGs stations." Executive VP for Radio Kim Guthrie says, We have some of the more cutting-edge efforts in the digital space, and it is exciting to be able to dedicate one of our best talents to that effort. We are evolving our super brands into the digital future, and Tim will play an instrumental role in that overall success.

Clarke was PD for HOT 101.5 and Director of Social Media for all six CMG Tampa stations. While in Tampa, Clarke helped launch HOT 101.5 in 2011, and the station has been a consistent top ratings and revenue player in the market since inception. "The digital future for CMGs super brands is extremely bright and filled with tons of opportunity to engage our audiences in even deeper, more personalized, and more meaningful ways.
