Yacobush To Run Syracuse For Clear Channel

12-11-13

Rick Yacobush will take over the upstate New York cluster of five stations for Clear Channel in 2014. Yacobush has more than 38 years of experience in radio in the Syracuse market: five years on the air, 15 as an AE, and 18 as a sales manager. He previously served the Clear Channel cluster for more than 26 years, holding a variety of roles, including AE, GSM, and D.O.S. Yacobush has been recognized nationally as a two-time winner of Radio Ink Magazine's Director of Sales of the Year.

"We are very excited to have Rick Yacobush lead the extremely talented Clear Channel Media and Entertainment team in Syracuse," Kevin LeGrett, Senior Vice President of Operations, Clear Channel Media and Entertainment Northeast. "Rick's sales leadership over the last 18 years has led to unprecedented performance. Clear Channel Media and Entertainment reaches more people in Syracuse than any other media and Rick's unique ability to maximize our assets will allow us to serve the community as well as our advertisers in a multi-platform fashion."

In addition to the Yacobush promotion, Barbara Miller has been named Director of Sales for the Syracuse cluster. Miller has been with Clear Channel for more than 18 years.
