Cleveland Talker Arrested For Domestic Violence

12-8-13

ESPN Cleveland sports talker Tony Rizzo was arrested Friday night after his wife called police. Cleveland.com reports. Catherine Rizzo reported that she had locked herself in a bathroom because her husband hit her in the face. In a recording of the 911 call, she says that her husband had been "choking her and hitting her in the face." Rizzo is the host of "The Really Big Show," 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on ESPN Radio in Cleveland which is owned by Good Karma Broadcasting.

Following the incident we reached out to Good Karma Broadcasting for a comment. Director of Communication Emily Dillinger said, "We don't believe it is appropriate to comment on Tony's personal life. Tony is an exemplary teammate and member of the community and his status with us is unaffected."
