Yankees Make A Move In Syracuse

Galaxy Communications and CBS Radio have signed a multi-year agreement to air all 162 regular-season games on TK99/TK105 (WTKW/WTKV) in Syracuse beginning with the 2014 season. Galaxy Communications CEO Ed Levine said, We are thrilled and honored to partner with the greatest brand in all of sports. We intend to go far beyond just broadcasting the games on the radio in Syracuse. Were going to enhance the experience for Yankee fans in Central New York in a myriad of innovative ways, as we have done in our partnership with Syracuse University Athletics.

CBS Radio and the New York Yankees are very excited to be partnering with TK99 and Galaxy, said Mark Chernoff, VP Sports Programming, CBS Radio. They have shown a great ability through their work with SU Athletics to enhance what is already a strong presence in Syracuse and make it even bigger and better. We look forward to that continuing with the Yankees.
