Concert Raises Over $6,000 For Fallen Officer

12-7-13

Alpha's 98.7 The Bull, Dukes Bar & Grill, and Team Latus Harley Davidson raised over $6,000 at a benefit concert for the family of fallen reserve police officer Robert Libke yesterday. Libke was shot on Sunday, November 3, while responding to a house fire in Oregon City. Libke leaves behind his wife who is six months pregnant and on bed rest.

The show was held at Dukes Bar & Grill on Wednesday December 4 with performances by The Lost Trailers, Natalie Stovall and The Drive, and The Kurt Van Meter Band, plus a special appearance by Fox 12s Kimberly Maus. The national anthem was sung by a 19-year-old police cadet from North Plains Police Department. Dave Turin from the TV Series Gold Rush also met the crowd and took meet-and-greet photos. A silent auction was held with items such as autographed CDs, guitars and 1 oz. of gold donated from the Gold Rush shows
