New SiriusXM Satellite Ready For Service

Sirius FM-6, the newest addition to the company's satellite fleet, has been successfully placed in orbit and declared ready for service. The new satellite is intended to help ensure SiriusXM's array of audio entertainment and data services are received by vehicles, receivers for home and business, as well as mobile devices. Sirius FM-6 was launched October 25 from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan aboard an International Launch Services (ILS) Proton.
