Former Magna Global CEO Joins Clear Channel
Clear Channel has hired media executive Tim Spengler to the newly created position of President of Content Marketing and Revenue Strategy, reporting directly to CCM+E Chairman and CEO John Hogan. Hogan says, “Tim’s experience and expertise will help us further create and shape Clear Channel’s offering of unmatched media and entertainment assets so that they will be most valuable to advertisers and marketers looking to reach the millions of Americans who listen to our broadcast radio stations and iHeartRadio, watch our TV programming, and attend our events every day. Working with Tom Poleman, Tim Castelli, Tom Schurr, and Matt Martin, he will help us redefine what a true 21st-century media and entertainment company looks like and can deliver for its advertising and marketing partners.”
Spengler has been a senior executive for the Interpublic Group, a global advertising holding company, for nearly two decades, most recently as Chief Executive Officer of MAGNA GLOBAL, the strategic media investment and intelligence arm of IPG Mediabrands.
