TMZ: Kasem Just Months From Death
Casey Kasem, who is 81 and suffering from advanced Parkinsons disease, may die soon, according to documents revealed in court last week. TMZ is reporting that legal documents submitted by Jean Kasem during a small claims court case state, "My husband is terminally ill and unable to leave home." She was asking for a continuance for several months in a small claims case, adding that's the period of time it will take for Kasem's "situation to resolve or end, unfortunately."
Last week, a judge ruled he would not intervene in Kasem's affairs after a court-appointed attorney said Kasem is receiving adequate medical. His kids are seeking a 'conservatorship' claiming his wife will not allow them to see Kasem.

Should let the children see their father. I would suggest he would enjoy it also. Don't count your eggs before the hen drops them. I am not waving a flag for the ole boy, but he does hove a few rights, don't you agree.

Here's a long distance dedication to the man who brought so much love and fun to the radio for all these years. May you and your family find peace in this very tough time. Thanks for the memories.

So sorry to hear about Mr. Kasem's condition. My father died from Parkinson's disease. It is a slow lingering death with a lot of uncertainty for the family and could go on for years rather than months. Hopefully he has a very supportive network of family and friends.
